Timun Emas

In ancient time, there lived a widow as farmer. Her name is Mbok Rondo. She usually was planting a plant on the rice field beside her house. On time, Mbok Rondo was planted some seeds of paddy. Suddenly, a big monster walked came to her.

Buta Ijo               : Are you Mbok Rondo?

Mbok Rondo          : Y-y-yes.. I-I’m Mbok Rondo. What do you need?

Buta Ijo               : Don’t be afraid! I need your help mbok. Listen! I know you haven’t a child, and now I will give you, but when child has grow up, you must give back to me! And, don’t ever to protect the child when I back 13 years next!

Mbok Rondo         : But, where is the child now?

Buta Ijo               : This is!

Mbok Rondo         : What your mean? What is it?

Buta Ijo               : This is cucumber seeds. Plant it! And, when the cucumber is grow, you take the big one. Split carefully and will find the baby. That is the child.

Mbok Rondo         : Y-Yes..

Buta Ijo               : I will go home now! Don’t forget to plant!

Then, Mbok Rondo plant the cucumber seeds in front of the house. And she wait for the cucumber grow up. Mbok Rondo surprised with the cucumber has grow up quickly.

Mbok Rondo         : Wow!! What happened?? It is very quickly!! Knife! The big one? The big one? Yes.. yes.. This is it!! Wait.. wait honey! You will out later.. Yeah.. carefully.. carefully .. cleave now.. ok.. nooowww..

Timun Emas         : Oek,, oek..

Mbok Rondo         : Wow.. baby! What your name? Oh.. ok.. You was born from the cucumber. Yeah.. ok baby.. I will give you name Timun Emas

Timun Emas has grow up. She was been a beautiful and cheerfully girl. She always helped Mbok Rondo every day.

Timun Emas         : Mom, I have planted all seeds. What should I do now Mom??

Mbok Rondo         : Oh.. OK, Timun, thank you. We take rest now Timun?

Timun Emas         : Yes, ok Mom..

Then, Timun emas and Mbok Rondo rest at their house. When they take a lunch, they heard a footstep of Buta Ijo. Then, Mbok Rondo open the door.

Buta Ijo               : Mbok Rondo! Where is the cucumber? Give to me now! Now!

Mbok Rondo         : But-but! She was go out. Please you come again tomorrow, Buta.

Buta ijo                : Ok.. I will back tomorrow. If she go out again, I will kill you and eat you! HAHAHA..

Mbok Rondo close the door. Then , she fill in on Timun Emas about her meeting with Buta Ijo.

Mbok Rondo          : Timun! Timun! Listen to me please!

Timun Emas         : Yes Mom?

Mbok Rondo         :  Timun, Tomorrow, early morning, You must go out. Sorry Timun, I never tell you about…

Timun Emas         : Tell? Tell What Mom??

Mbok Rondo         : 13 years ago, you was born from the cucumber. And that cucumber is a gift from Buta Ijo.

Timun Emas         : Buta? Buta Ijo?

Mbok Rondo         : Yes! Buta Ijo! He asked me for keep you and when you 13 years old, I must give back to him.

Timun Emas         : Hahh? But, for what mom?

Mbok Rondo         : Of course, for his dinner!

She Timun Emas  : Me? Me Mom? To his dinner?

Mbok Rondo         : Ssts! Of course I will protect you! Silent please! Ok.. Tomorrow.. you really really must go out!

Timun emas          : But Mom, where I going?

Mbok Rondo         : Listen! Run ! run ! and run ! don’t stop! Because the footstep of Buta is catched  5 meter. This it. You must bring it! You just throw it to Buta, if you need a help

Timun Emas         : Oh.. Ok Mom..

On the next morning.

Buta Ijo               : Dum.. Dum.. Dum..

Mbok Rondo         : Timun.. Timun.. Listen! That is the footstep of Buta. You must go out now! Go ! go ! go !

Timun running, but Buta see Timun when Timun running from the house and go out.

Buta Ijo               : Is it she? Hey! Please wait! Are you the child?

Timun Emas         : Ahh!!!.. must run! Run ! run !

Buta Ijo               : Hey you.. wait!

Timun Emas         : Ahh!! Go away, go away! Don’t follow me!! Go away ! go away!

Buta ijo                : I will follow you wherever you go! Huahahaha

Timun Emas         : haaaaaaaahh… aaaaaaaaaaa..

Timun Emas take a purler, and she was panic, because Buta so close from her.

Buta Ijo               : Hahahhaa..

Timun Emas         : Ahha!! ……………………… SALT!!! This for you!

Buta Ijo               : AAAAAAAA……… What is it?? My eyes! My eyes! Arghh !! Insolent!!

Timun Emas         : Yeeyy!! Won out!

Buta Ijo               : Where are you now! Where are you Timun!

Buta Ijo               : Hey !! Timun!! Wait! Wait! If I get you, I will eat you!!

 Timun Emas runs keep away from Buta Ijo. Timun run to the jungle. Buta ijo can find Timun Emas because her smell

Buta Ijo               : Hey little cucumber!! Where are you.. yuhuuu!! Hmm.. your smell!! I can catch you! It is fixed !

Timun Emas         : Ahh silent.. silent..  ahhaaa.. I remember that ! Needle!  Buta ijo!! Its just needle!

Buta Ijo               : What’s your mean, needle? Wha.. awwww.. it’s bramble… Nooo.. 

Timun Emas         : yes, it’s worked! Ok.. run again!!

Buta Ijo               : Hey! Bad cucumber! Wait me! If I can catch you, I will direct to eat you!

Timun Emas         : No, you can’t. I will made first to kill you!

Buta Ijo               : Oh.. mom.. I’m scared.. No!! I made first!

Timun run for it. Buta run after, to catch Timun Emas. But, Buta lost track of Timun.

Buta Ijo               : Hey cucumber.. where are you??! Your smell, your smell.. hmm.. haa! I know you reside at that tree.

Timun                   : Oh.. no no no.. it’s still exist one! I wish this can save me. Yes, terasi! Hey Buta! This terasi for you!

Buta Ijo               : What? Terasi? What’s the good of it?? Hahaha.. haa.. oh no! No! No! what is it?? No!! No!! Cucumber! What are you doing for me? Nooo!!
